I was wondering if anyone else’s child has no words yet (not even mama or dada)? My little boy understands plenty, follows instructions and points. I’ve contacted speech and language and they’ve said they wouldn’t see him until 18 months but feel like every month that’s going past I expect him to start speaking and he just doesn’t.

Yeah I’ve heard that as well so hoping he starts speaking soon! Yeah he babbles, although didn’t really start doing that until nearly a year old x
That’s really good, try not to worry and just keep doing what ur doing! Saying words constantly etc 😊 I’ve worked with children for 10 years and there once was a child who was 2 and said nothing. 6 months later they was speaking sentences! X
