I never cut my older child's hair but this baby got a trim around 4 months old because it was random patches so I just evened her hair out If your child doesn't need clippers, it shouldn't be a big deal. I wouldn't use those on a little scalp
We had to take my son for his first haircut at 8 months his hair was so long he couldn’t see😅 we would’ve waited if it didn’t impact his ability to see
We’ve had to trim some random long pieces. He was born with a bunch of dark hair, most fell out, and then new blonde hair grew in. But there were still random long dark pieces from birth that we just trimmed up to make it even.
My daughter is 9 months old and has the cutest long side pieces like she has a pixie cut haha. If I don't keep it combed or clipped up it gets all in her face and becomes a mess.
