Gift for neighbor who just had a baby

My neighbor just had a little girl and I want to spoil her with some small gifts when she comes from the hospital (porch drop off and a text I promise) :D What are some things you would like to receive if you were in her spot? I was thinking of some tummy time toys, books, bake her lactation cookies and maybe order her something sweet or something to spoil herself (they live with his parents till their house gets build so she’s covered when it comes to meals).

maybe some nice bath bombs or epsom salt or some postpartum essentials

My neighbours gave me money and said to treat myself to something and buy something baby needs. Had a few kids / neighbours along the years, and these were actually my childhood neighbours. We weren't expecting it at all. It was lovely. I bought a pushchair when my child got bigger. Still think of them all the time years later. Maybe a voucher / gift card, if you're wanting something for mum, try and avoid somewhere that does baby things... • coffee shop • restaurant • clothes shops (especially women's shops... annoyingly I can't suggest which cause most places do kids stuff lol) • cinema • Lush? • Book shop? Sometimes we just need a reminder to not lose ourselves so any sort of entertainment or something that could be used as break when she's ready could be a great help xx

some nice shampoo and conditioner!! never ever goes a miss!

maybe even a precooked meal they can just heat up the first night back so neither of them have to cook. it will definitely help ease their first night.

@Riley Yeah I thought of that but they live with his parents for a few more months so they will take care of that.

When we had our twins, we received door dash giftcards that really came in handy to have a restaurant meal delivered. If she's breastfeeding, I think the lactation cookies would be a great idea! And of course, you could never go wrong with diapers and wipes!

@Hillary Yeah I already got them a giant box of diapers, wipes, a baby tub, things for bath time, towels and a book that has information how to take care of a baby from A-Z which really helped me when I gave birth. I’m thinking for now Wawa gift card as she can order coffee or meals from there or even some small groceries; homemade lactation cookies and lactation candy from PinkStork, a nice book (not sure which one really), lindor candy, some healthy snacks, epsom salt, lip balm, Tumbler with a straw, tummy time toys and baby books.

Oh my goodness, you are a super neighbor!! Can I come be your neighbor too?? Lol.
