Struggling to sleep with super active baby

Is anyone else struggling to get any sleep with a really active baby at night time? I’m 33 weeks and I feel very grateful that he is so active in the evenings as I know he’s okay in there. However, he basically doesn’t stop rolling around/kicking incredibly hard between about 10pm and 3am! Sometimes the movements are so intense it takes my breath away. I go on maternity leave soon so I’m thinking when I don’t need to work any longer I’ll just nap in the day when he is quieter and not “fight it” at night time, but I’m sooooo tired 😅 anyone else?

Yes, mine is like this too and it's so hard to switch off from! Hope it's not a sign to come that they are going to be super awake at night 🤣

Me too, although I’ve read that they can keep these sleep patterns until they’re newborns so I reckon I’m in for some long nights 😂

I’ve been having this - where you’re like “great to know you’re okay but can I have ten minutes?” 😹 been waking up with a proper wonky bump so god knows what he’s up to in there, getting himself into all kinds of positions!

@Jess same I’ve been getting proper triangle bump, it’s hard to tell the difference between baby doing something weird and braxton hicks!

It’s great reading these comments because I too have had a really weird shaped bump through the night that’s been so uncomfortable and keeping me up. Baby moves so much when I’m relaxed, i simultaneously love and hate it at the same time. It’s great knowing she’s doing well but it’s exhausting! I wake up most morning with a rock hard triangle bump. I do love trying to decide what body part she’s decided to stick out today. 99% of the time, I’m sure it’s her bum haha!

Yesss me too😅😅
