I’m really interested in this because I’ve seen a lot of conflicting info around increased movements. The NHS website says change in movements whether that be increased or decreased should be a trip to triage, meanwhile my midwife seems incredibly unconcerned by increased movement and sees it as a good thing. My thought would be to keep an eye on it to see if this is your new normal and if anything seems up, don’t think twice about giving triage a ring and getting advice. Always better safe than sorry and I’ve been reassured every time I’ve been worried that this what they are there for.
Having exactly the same! A bit quieter today but still kicking away, yesterday was another level though - getting themselves into all sorts of positions and limbs poking out every which way 🤭
My baby is so active, specially this week I’m in pain with her movements! I’m just putting it down to she is getting bigger and running out of room and that’s why it feels so intense!
I was told at my last appointment that baby was breech, a few days ago I had such intense movement, I ended up having to be on all fours because the pain was shooting down so much I couldn't sit or stand. Since then I can see the movements more, it feels like there's a new pressure in my pelvis and my heartburn has reduced massively so I'm hoping he managed to turn! I'm 35 weeks. Have a scan on Monday to see
I had a definite pattern of movements and since last Sunday where I felt two really big, painful movements , I feel like movements has definitely ramped up and changed, so I'm hoping it's because she's now head down as was breech previously! Find out on the 7th!
I had this recently, turned out baby had hiccups!
I had changes in baby movements many times but I don't see it as concerning. Of course some days we have more energy than the others and also it all depends on where thay are actually kicking as if he kicks placenta for a few days then I won't feel or see it as much as other days when he kicks my skin actually 😁
I'd say all excessive movements are pretty normal, whether head down or breech. My first 3 were all head down and good movers, this baby is breech and is a good mover. I've only ever seen reduced movements being cause for concern x
