@Izzie it’s a relief to know I’m not the only one. It feels like my feed is flooded with Kamala all day then I turn on the tv it’s either her nasally voice or the other jerkoffs voice. I’m over it. We’re doomed either way it feels.
Not voting is such a privilege take. You don’t have to like everything about a candidate to vote for them, additionally Congress is more important than the president so if not anything else you should be voting for your state reps.
I don’t like kamala but trumps a fascist pos so
In regard to genocide you can’t put out your neighbors fire before your own. America has supported Israel forever no matter who the president is that’s not changing overnight
Kamala said she wanted a ceasefire when it came to Israel
just know that you aren’t voting for them specifically. yes they are the people who are the face of the government for the next four years, but there are 5000 people that come with them into office that make decisions. i hate both of them but try to look at policies and results from both parties and ignore the people themselves. we’re voting for what we think would make a great government and a stronger country, not who is the coolest and most likable person
btw, my reasons for (potentially) not voting go way deeper than just not liking the candidates. i have a huge distrust in the system as a whole, i don’t even know if voting actually makes a difference, and i strongly believe that our government doesn’t truly care about the wellbeing of its people. it’s all a big game 🤷🏽♀️
@Izzie but…then what’s the downside of voting?? If it probably doesn’t matter, why not vote for what’s closest to something that would be better for your world, on the off chance that it DOES matter?
@Trish i’ve had that thought process trust me! still i have a hard time voting for either, not just bc of the candidates
Trump is also pro genocide so I’m voting for the lesser of the two evils https://youtu.be/Vf5MThSniiY?si=WRh6g-6IJlAanJ1u
THE SECOND OPTION IM DEAD 💀
I get it, both parties are frustrating, and it’s easy to feel like voting doesn’t change anything. But honestly, even if neither option is great, choosing the one that’s less bad still counts. Not voting could mean ending up with the one you’d least want, and then wishing you’d done something. What if voting actually does make a difference? We’ll never know unless we try. The system’s messed up, sure, but by voting, we at least get a say in which direction things go—even if it’s just picking the best of the worst.
@Ashley I’m trying to just look at it from that angle but both parties are so corrupt it’s insane. I feel like instead of everyone picking from either shit party, there should be an uproar atp about better options 🤷🏻♀️ revolution of some sort instead of accepting the bs
@Ari I understand this as well. I literally use to register people to vote and had a whole mantra memorized and agreed with it. It’s just insane that we have to continuously accept this corrupt government and play along with their tactics. No matter who is in office.

I’m not American so this election doesn’t affect me, however it’s important to remember there are always going to be things you agree and disagree with with every candidate and that applies to everyone in every election everywhere (although the rest of the western world can’t quite believe Trump is even allowed to run, it’s like a crazy fever dream to us lol). You’re never going to find someone who 100% aligns with your beliefs and priorities. It’s always going to be about choosing the one that you agree with the most, or voting for the one you believe will do the least damage. Personally I think it’s really important to vote though.
I honestly don’t see why anyone would vote for Kamala Harris. I don’t love Trump, but he’s got my vote for sure.
Everyone waits until election year to care about the election process. After the election no one is going to care that it’s a 2 party system until the next election. So that’s an tired argument atp
@Amber do you understand why people WOULDN’T vote for Trump?
@Trish oh sure, if there was a better option I probably would understand it. I wouldn’t invite him to dinner, but financially I was thriving when he was president. My hometown wasn’t overrun with illegal migrants, which is a huge problem right now. Kamala Harris has been in office for 4 years and it’s been the worst 4 years of my adult life, politically.
And Incognito there IS an uproar about both parties being the de-facto only options- but unfortunately that doesn’t change that we still DO currently, in this election, need to pick one of the two if we want to have any influence over the next four years.
@Amber right, ok so Kamala WASNT in office, Biden was. This is really important. She was NOT making the big decisions. Vice presidents do not have near the kind of influence republicans are for some reason imagining suddenly- which why no one says “wow four years of Pence was so great he did so much!”
I totally understand your financial concerns! But, Biden (again NOT KAMALA) being in office had nothing to do with the financial state of the world during his term. A presidents policies, if he makes ANY that relate directly to the effect of the economy on you, show up at the END of their term. The way you were financially during the first 3 years of Biden would be the result of Trump’s policies, or the exterior circumstances which is what it was in this case (Covid). I only mention this because Biden really did only enact policies that increased middle class wealth, he just could not possibly make up for runaway Covid inflation and supply chain disasters.
Yep both parties work in collaboration to uphold the status quo, are corrupt and working for the interests of large corporations, lobbyists and billionaires, not us. Anyone who thinks Kamala is for the people or some beacon of hope is delusional. I understand voting for her to prevent a Trump presidency but personally I’m on team Green Party and will be voting for Jill Stein because ultimately both parties undying loyalty to the military industrial complex and protecting western colonialism is putting us all in jeapardy, killing hundreds of thousands overseas and destroying our environment and to me that’s unacceptable to support. Kamala has stated numerous times she wouldn’t change anything about the arms and financial aid we’re giving to Israel.. we literally could’ve housed and fed ALL homeless people in our country with the money we gave to Israel this year alone
@Daija I’m not everyone though so that’s irrelevant to me. I pay attention to every election especially local ones. It’s just the presidential election that I find to be mockery as they are quite literally playing our faces but ard
@Trish I understand that others are annoyed with the 2 party system but my point is that it’s not enough of an uproar since there is no changes being made
I know it seems like people don’t care about it but there’s actually been a ton of advocacy and organizing to try to implement rank choice voting or getting rid of the electoral college. It’s something I’ve been and the people around me have been talking about for the last two years
@Autumn I love hearing it cause so many are blind or pretend like the 2 party system is their only option and is the reason why we end up with the same type of jerkoffs in office every time.
Incognito to be clear I don’t love either choice. I just think unfortunately the president does hold certain powers that it’s a privilege if you think you can just ignore it. There are plenty of Supreme Court justices getting up there in age. I don’t want Trump or a republican Congress making the decision on who replaces them if they retire or die. That’s how we have a rapist in the Supreme Court now.
Voting for Kamala because of “women’s rights” is such a tired and stupid excuse. It is in the states hands. Vote according to how you want things to be and the people will decide what things will be like in your state. She has nothing to offer , she’s actually doing so much harm. The fact that any American would vote someone like her into the White House is shocking.

Idk how anyone has faith in the government. That shit is so corrupt. None of these mf care about you or are going to help. President is scapegoat. This system steals your money ! Then proceeds to give you back a quarter of your shit and you worship them. It's wild.
@Sindy it may be a tired excuse but it makes a lot more sense than depending on a sexist, misogynistic bigot. Other than that and not being openly racist, I agree she has nothing to offer but those are pretty big things.
@Janni ❤️ 💯💯💯💯💯
I think that’s the key right there. “Depending” you shouldn’t depend on a president or government.
And no it doesn’t make more sense. She has failed at every one of her duties as vice president. She’s awful.
I agree she is awful. I’m just not for someone who is OPENLY not for women period. Arguing with me about her being a pos vice president is preaching to the choir cause I really don’t gaf
How is he not for women?
@Sindy you’re either blind or a little slow. Google is your friend. Not me.
@Autumn ❤️❤️❤️
i feel the same. idk if i’ll even vote cause i hate them both, the whole thing is a mess
