Luton but considering Barnet hospital for birth.i Need peoples last 2 years experience please

Hi I’m 17 weeks with my first baby and living in Luton, so far Luton hospital has not been great including the midwife appointment I had yesterday felt like I was indirectly been chased away and no questions answered, felt rushed and only blood pressure checked. Last time I was in A&E for pain I was feeling at 8weeks I was left in the waiting area for 7 hours in pain before seeing a doctor in L&D . I am considering Barnet hospital please can anyone tell me their experience preferably within last 2 years

Amazing experience with complications for both me and my sister - can’t fault the care either of us received! People do come from far to Barnet which does occasionally make it over stretched - when I was in 15m ago the ward shut and so did the labour ward as both were full - people were being sent to royal free - also just keep in mind if you do change - if you do go into labour - it’s a long way to make it to Barnet whilst having contractions! X

I had my son last year I was a high risk pregnancy and they monitored me like a hawk. They also ket my husband stay with me everyday while I was there

I had mine nearly 3 weeks ago and I couldn’t fault the maternity team there I would have another there in a heartbeat, I would definitely recommend the hospital xx

I had my LG in June and Barnet was amazing for us. I was in labour for nearly 3days and they were all so lovely and supportive throughout the whole experience my husband stayed with me the whole time and they also let my mum in too. Couldn't fault the experience.
