How long do i wait for a phone call to confirm a c-section date?

Baby girl is breech so opted for elective c-section after the ECV failed last thursday- I was told someone would call in 2-3 days with a date (not sure if this includes weekends). It’s now been 6 days since the ECV and I haven’t heard anything- should I call them or trust the process?

I got my date on the Friday for the Monday so only had 2 days notice

I was already in the hospital my daughter was sideways they tried turning her multiple times but she kept turning back so we opted to do a C-section and my next is an automatic C-section I’d give them a call since they have not called you

If they said 2-3 days and it's been 6 I would call them. I had twice weekly nst's at the hospital I was delivering at so I asked them during one of my nsts if I was in the books... because my doctor had put it in his book and let them know but no one called me to confirm or discuss my pre-op lab day. So my nurse checked, had them add me to the OR book since they hadn't, and we set the time for my pre-op labs. Sometimes you have to get on them to get things done.

I’d call just to ask. And if they don’t know then just wait for them.

Follow up with them. I had the same. Was seen Tuesday, got told i'd get a phone call by the end of the week. I called Friday morning and by Friday afternoon i was booked in for monday mornjng

Not sure where you are, but it took me 3 weeks! I sent messages and even had another appointment during that time and followed up. It took a strongly worded message in my portable to finally get the scheduler to get me in. My date is 2 weeks away. We were running out of time for getting time off from work. It was very frustrating! Don’t be afraid to follow up and ask again.
