Office work

Hey! Has anyone started struggling with sitting down at work for 8 hours? My back and bum started to hurt and I'm struggling. I am trying to take breaks and walk around a bit but to be honest it doesn't help much. Do you have any tips or tricks? Thanks!

Yes!! I’ve been getting this a lot recently. Having a pillow to sit on and behind my lower back helps ease the pain

Yes! I’m currently sat in the office and my lower back/bum is aching. It’s not like this when I’m at home so definitely from sitting at a desk for long periods.

Moving around lots, trying to stay active ish in general when not at work, stretching in the morning if you can find time and after work, maybe even a quick desk stretch during the day, drinking lots of water.

Yes, I feel this too! I have even decided to bring my maternity leave date forward by 2.5 weeks so I have a month off before babies born because I am already struggling. I just can’t get comfy full stop, on any position! Just taking 1 day at a time x

yes! i work from home but sitting down for all these hours is killing me and im only 26 weeks 🤦🏻‍♀️

I am them same, suffering with really bad sciatica and pain in my back and bum. I've bought a memory foam pillow to sit on at work on my chair which has a hole for tailbone. It has actually really helped, as well as trying to get up more frequently https://amzn.eu/d/hT2v8aY
