Wondering the same thing! I heard it's good to do that in summer when they have less layers on and when "accidents" happen its not as bad and can be cleaned up more easily. But I am wondering if people also do it in the winter for 1,5 years olds?

We are due our second baby in June next year so I personally am going to wait until after that. We have a potty and sit him on it before the bath etc but he is not ready for potty training at all. I think you'll probably know when the time is right as they'll get more aware and tell you but I'd say anywhere between 2/3 years x

We started by putting ours on the potty first thing in the morning and just building it up from there once he got the hang of it

@Freya How is it going so far?)

@Daria really well! I haven’t had time to set aside a few days for full potty training but he will wee on the potty whenever I put him on it, and he will ask for the potty when he needs a poo, sometimes when he needs a wee too

We've been using potty since Christmas and she now does no2 only in potty. Has dry nights and will hold morning and after nap to go toilet. In September we had a week of no nappy and we were like 80% there , but then we changed scenery and she refused. If we're home alone on the weekend, I leave her in tights only, no nappy, remind about potty and she 50/50 says something/has accident, but we're slowly building up - today she took me to the toilet twice and put seat reducer on the toilet and peed. Sometimes even says peepee in the nursery and they take her, so she's getting there. I'm happy we introduced potty early and are slowly building up. Accidents can happen even with older kids, it's okay, thank god for carpet cleaners 😂
