My midwife tells me at each appointment when she measures my bump x

@Amy they can tell by touching your stomach? X

Midwife checks at my appts but I also have regular scans where they confirm...not what the scans for. Midwife has never been wrong yet.

Your midwife should be able to tell you this at each appointment. My baby has been head down since 27 weeks. If you have the badger app it will say on there for the presentation i.e cephalic ☺️ There are no real tell tale signs away from this. Although I am 35 weeks also and I do feel slightly more pressure down there now as if shes become or becoming engaged x

If you're getting alot of pressure on your bladder chances are their head is down but ask you midwife and she should be able to feel

Midwives aren’t always right. My last pregancy my midwife said baby was head down but I was like he is not. This was 34 weeks then 37 weeks she said oh no he’s breech as I was complaining (like every appt) I had a pain under my ribs! Emergency scan needed and managed to get him turned - just!!! So this time they are scanning me next when I’m 36 weeks as I know baby is breech again!!! X

Mine has been head down at every scan and midwife app since about 28 weeks. Midwife told me yesterday she’s clearly got her head super low in my pelvis and isn’t budging as she’s clearly very happy in there. Hence the needing to go for a wee every 30mins, horrific pelvic girdle pain and sciatica…Also, it’s a bit of a give away when her foot comes out under my boobs 😂

@Sam yes I feel a lottt if pressure on my bladder, constantly needing to pee but when I do not much comes out it just get so much pressure and my bladder constantly feels full x

@Sam my baby was breech and i had this 😅 she was RIGHT down in my pelvis . My midwife rhubks she might have turned now, from palpating my bump, but confirmation scan next week!

Midwife, and confirmed at a growth scan! He was transverse for ages and could definitely feel the difference in movement and pressure when shifted down.

As everyone says the midwife confirms it. I asked mine because it amazes me how they can tell so she showed me where to put my hands to feel the babies head.. very strange but cute and now I can reassure myself to 🙂. Also 35 weeks today 🙂
