UCLH (CRGH?) or Guy's Hospital

Hi, so I have done one round fresh transfer under NHS with Guy's but failed, no frozen embryos, and the next round the protocol will not change. In the meantime I have the chance to choose UCLH for future rounds. Wondering would people recommend which one? Success rate would be on the top of my head. I have very low AMH and 38 yo. UCLH seems to have CRGH affiliation so I think if I choose it will be done with CRGH? I notice the meds/injections names are different. I have checked HEFA but Guy's has only 2018 stats and seems below national average, while CRGH had better stats but was in 2019. Should I stay with Guy's or change to UCLH/CRGH? If I change do I need to look out for anything, eg tell them my previous meds used so they could adjust?

I would look to change if they won’t change your protocol for a better response with your next round

I don’t have any advice on those clinics. But my first nhs round failed, only 2 embryos and none frozen. For my next transfer I decided to move clinics and got far better results. (I now have my daughter with 3 frozen embryos) I guess go with your gut. I had a consultation with 2 clinics, we had to pay for these, but we were going to spends nearly £15k so I wanted be sure I was happy with the clinic. My new clinic also changed my protocol and tweaked a few things based on my previous cycle.

@Hollie they said nothing went wrong in the first cycle and the doses have been maximum. After all I guess as it's NHS they don't do anything extra?

@Danielle so glad the second time worked out for you! Was your second with NHS hospital or private? You mentioned fee so it looks like was private?

Private, I only got one nhs funded cycle.

Mine was NHS funded but at a private clinic. They do have options of different protocols even when NHS funded. There’s the downreg long cycle which is quite often used with low AMH. I would go for the one that would be done at CRGH.

Yes with uclh you will do your egg collection and transfer at crgh
