My 12 week old is on size 2 teets and has been for a few weeks now. Seems to be managing well x
Don’t always base it on the age mam suggests. All babies are different, rather go off how long it takes for your little one to drink their bottle. Should take around 25 mins with pace feeding. If they are downing it in 10 mins or less the flow is too fast so size down. On the other hand if it’s taken 40 mins plus and getting sleepy on the bottle then it’s too slow so size up.
My baby is 5 months and he's still on size 1. We tried moving him up to size 2 at when he was 3 and 4 months old but he would down the milk too fast and vomit alot of his milk up. With size one it takes him 10 to 15 mins. With size 2 took him at times 7 mins for 5oz.
My 12 week old is on size 1 teats but I went to buy a couple more today and noticed that size 2’s and intended for 2 months plus.
