Drinking same bottle twice?

If I put freshly expressed milk in a bottle and baby doesn’t finish it all at once can I let him finish it later (if it’s within the 4 hours that fresh milk can be stored safely at room temp)?

From what I’ve been told, after the baby drinks from the bottle it should be thrown out after 1-2 hrs. The baby drinking from the bottle introduces bacteria to the milk and bottle.

Yes. Expressed milk from 1 to 2 hours is safe. Formula you would need to use within 1 hour.

if baby drinks out of the bottle then the milk only works up to 2 hours, if it's fresh but it hasn't been touched yet then you can leave out up to 4 hours then put it in the refrigerator

If the baby drank from the bottle it’s good for 2 hours at room temp. Once the baby drinks from the bottle there’s bacteria being introduced that is why it shouldn’t be given back to baby after the 2 hour mark.
