I had a really good experience at Randall Children’s Hospital (part of Emanuel). Not sure if they have tubs or not, but the whole maternity ward is state of the art and the staff is wonderful.
I do not recommend Silverton. They lied and got my 3 day old daughter taken from me.
I went to meridian park and they were amazing! The doctors and nurses were so nice and very informative. My whole experience there was amazing and if I ever have another child I would go there again
@Maria were you worried about good Sam not having a NICU ?
@Joy I’m so sorry about that !
@Joy she’s such a A Cutieeeeee !!!
I go to Providence Hospital. I’m not sure if they have a tub or not though.. I had my first born there and will be delivering there as well with baby #2 due in December. Even though I moved to a different city, I still go down to Portland for my doctors appointments, ect,. I refuse to change doctors 😅
I had a great experience with OHSU. I am unsure if they have tubs. A friend of mine gave birth last month at Mt. Hood and she said she had a great experience there.
I work for legacy! Good Sam was really good when my friend gave birth!
I can also confirm the tub at Good Sam and great surgical staff if you happen to have a c section
Another vote for Good Sam!
@Joy this sounds so traumatic I hope you are doing ok
@Emily struggling with pp depression but taking meds for it
@Christina I’m going to be honest I didn’t realize the didn’t have a nicu 😅 I went there mainly because I was working at the pediatricians office across the street so if I were to go into labor at work my coworkers could just wheel me on over 😂 and my daughters pediatrician office does rounds over there so I would know who would be coming to see her when it was time.

Good Sam was great. If you need NICU then Randall’s is less than 5 mins.
Randall's labor and delivery ward is gorgeous - feels like a fancy hotel and the city views are incredible. Plus it is attached to a nicu. I had a great experience there and loved the nurses. As long as you don't need continuous monitoring, they can set up a water birthing tub. Otherwise each room has a (marble tiled) private bathroom with a giant tub.
I loved Good Samaritan it’s downtown. The room has a bathroom that has a tub they said I could labor in if I wanted to
