Any recommendations for a budget travel set?

I don’t know if I’m being realistic but at the moment I have around £350 saved up for a pram. I love the Joie chrome pram, being able to flip it so that baby’s facing away vs towards you seems cute but is it a gimmick? I also love the cybex cloud T because of the reclining thing but all the compatible travel sets are so pricey. Is there like a universal adaptor I don’t know about? I work 12hr shifts so the research I’ve managed to do is pretty sporadic and I’m a bit overwhelmed lol. Any tips or advice would be amazing

Ickle bubba travel system got it for 200 quid and so good lightweight easy to manoeuvre.

I’m not sure about the other options you named but we have the Babylo Panorama Xt travel system and it’s been amazing. Initially bought it to see if it’s any good and was fully prepared to upgrade to something more expensive but have had zero need to do so! The car seat is great and being able to attach it to the base has been a life saver. It’s also all super light and easy to use which definitely helps in my postpartum recovery. I’ve linked it below, it’s actually on sale now too :) https://www.smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/baby/pushchairs-and-strollers/travel-systems/panorama-xti-travel-system-almond-and-enfasafe-r129-isofix-car-seat-base-bundle/b/700118

We bought the panorama xt pram from smyths and its been great for slightly cheaper than that price range. It comes with a car seat too. We still use the pram now with no issues x

We had the joie chrome for our first and loved it. Only reason we aren’t using it again is because we’ve had twins. We’ve had 3 years use from it and now psssed it to my brother for his baby In a tight budget I’d say look on market place and just buy the car seat new

Keep looking on Facebook market place as things get listed all the time!!

Like above have a look for 2nd hand prams there’s always some amazing priced ones on fb market place x

@Aggs thanks for the recommendation!! Do you know if it’s compatible with all car seats?

We’ve also got the Joie Chrome DLX. Had it for our first and will be using it again with our second. Definitely get one that is both parent facing and world facing. It’s handy to be able to see and interact with them for the first few months and then turn when they’re a bit older so that they see more of the world and don’t get bored x

It comes with its own car seat so I would guess that’s the only one which fits. You may be able to get an adapter but I’d be a little worried about the safety.

We went second hand on the mamas and papas maxi-cosi pram set, picked it up for £100 and then bought the Cybex Cloud-T car seat and isofix new which are all compatible. Ended up at £500 all in with a spare car seat if we're ever really stuck

I also recommend going on FB marketplace, there's no point spending hundreds on prams! I got an Oyster 2 with carrycot and seat for £30! I bought the Joie 360 ispin car seat new though, as I didn't want a travel system anyway

We bought a cheap Hauck one from Amazon when we had our youngest and it was like £150 and has been fine. It's good to be able to have them parent facing as long as possible in my opinion. We had the yoyo with my eldest and I was sad not to have that option!

puggle monaco xt

Ive chosen a “my babiie” travel system it was £350, but they do ones from around £250. They are meant to be quite good x

I saw this really good post on Facebook too about what to look for in an infant carrier car seat x https://www.facebook.com/share/p/dgeC6KyQCBfG8mQU/?mibextid=WC7FNe

We went for the mybabiee travel set as it had great features like the more expensive ones but for half the price Places like Facebook marketplace have some great second hand ones too

We have the ickle bubba stomp v2 travel system and love it. We downloaded the Bounty app which did an offer and a store we found it at price matched it for us at £479. The Bounty is also great for other freebies and money off vouchers xx
