I haven’t counted but definitely more than 20
Similar to @Lilita - also in a major copying phase right now so can’t keep track 😅
We’re on 40, including signs and animal sounds. They’re not all really clearly pronounced either
Posts like this can always cause some insecurity if people are on the lower end (unintended by OP, of course!) so let me just say - my daughter could say about 50 words and was making sentences at 18 months, but my son at the same age is saying less than 10 and none with any regularity. Every baby is different, please don’t compare, you’re all doing a wonderful job x
Just to mention, I know how it feels to be on the lower end, as my now 3 year old daughter barely said a word until she was 2,when her language just suddenly exploded. She turned 3 in September and she's talking really well now and is really clever, so I know I shouldn't have worried as much as I did 😊
Absolutely none
Zero words here
Mine says way more than 20, she can pretty much have a conversation, but I wouldn’t compare, she’s got a sister that literally doesn’t shut up so she’s learning from her 😂
@Hazel very triggering Indeed, well said. My may bubba babbles only..not a single word clear and loud.
@Nic try not to dwell on it, I know it’s hard! Your little one will be ok and you’re doing great ❤️ My LB isn’t anywhere near walking, and even though we know it’s because of his hypermobility it kills me seeing other kids his age toddling around, so I totally get it! I wish I could say he has 100s of words to bridge the gap but he’s the silent type 😅
Mine says none at all 😔
More than 20 words and is starting to form 2-3 word sentences 😊
