Potty training

I started off using the potty for a couple days and then moved my girl into the toilet with a toilet seat for her to sit on and I scrapped the nappy in the day time but I put one on for bed so she doesn’t have an accident but my girls only wears knickers no nappy throughout the day and I make sure I carry plenty of spare pants and underwear if we go out in case she has an accident when out. I stayed in for 3 days and every half hour I asked if she needed the toilet. Kept giving plenty of water so she would go and kept giving her toys to play with and gave her a sticker for going. Even when I’m out I make sure there’s a toilet nearby and continue asking if she needs to go to the toilet and I take her. Now she loves it and is almost fully toilet trained just the night time to crack. X

@Kaitlyn what potty did you get? As I’ve tried to put him on the toilet seat but he doesn’t like sitting on it

@Sharifa I got just a standard potty. You can also get a potty for on the go as well. But we used a normal potty got mine from home bargains with the matching step stool as well for the toilet x

@Sharifa it’s all about persistence. He will eventually get the hang of it. Like my girl tells me when she needs to go to the toilet but I do still prompt her as well as some encouragement xx
