I gave birth last year Charger/ ipad to keep u entertained , snacks and water bottle , bring a set of comfy pjs for release day 3-4 baby outfits make sure they are warm! Hospitals are cold so maybe footie pjs for baby and hat /slippers hospital provides socks dont bring pads or anything they will provide and bring ur own bodywash toothpaste tooth brush thats all u need mama!
Well yea deodorant too and lip balm and a blanket the ones they have are rough and bring a baby blanket u dont need to bring bottles or nursing bras baby will have premade bottles given my hospital ! And the hospital gown u will live in it for a good two days you probably will be without a bra if u breastfeeding so i dont think a nursing bra is necessary tbh
Try to take the essentials when i went for my first the nurses were shook about how over prepared i was even though they pretty much had everything i needed besides pjs and toiletries
Gatorade, you're going to need more than water after birth. I lived in an oversized pj top my entire stay and fuzzy socks Extra long charger. Toiletries My husband had a pillow, a change of clothes and forgot his charger. For my son I had diapers (didn't use as they provided) A onesie A going home outfit Swaddle
Take a portable fan for yourself, the ward is sooo hot 🥵
@Jenisha ours was freezing
@Ellie this is a UK/US difference. UK wards are very warm and kept at a strict temperature for baby :)
@Noelle it’s crazy how much less you guys have to bring! In the UK we need to bring socks and pads as they don’t provide!
@Alexandra yup is such a blessing we even have a hospital here give you a chanel gift i believe is a perfume cream mirror
