Omg yes! He’s had one for the past 3 weeks I’d say. Originally it was the start of a question he’d stutter for example “w w w where’s my dinosaur?” but now it’s completely random lol. I did a little google and apparently it’s because their brain is working faster than their mouth. I’m not worried by it at all though, I’m sure it’s a just a phase that’ll pass

Mine stutters when she’s tired x

My little boy has phases of stuttering. It settles for a bit then comes back again. I think it’s what Anna said, but also if they’re having a bit of a jump in language. I’ve got friends with kids the same ages and theirs are the same. I’d say the main thing to do is, as frustrating it is for us the adults, just let them do it/give them the time to get the words out rather then either hurrying them or just jumping in and saying it for them.

Mine has just started this or just repeats the start of the sentence multiple times before he can get it all out.

Yes! It’s come out of nowhere the last couple of weeks. Her actual speech is very good (so it’s not like she doesn’t know the words she wants to say), but she really struggles to get the first word out of a sentence, particularly if she’s excited about something. Definitely seems like her brain is working faster than her mouth.

Yes more so when excited or tired. It drives his dad mad, he’s like just spit it out.

We’ve literally just come out of this, had about two weeks of a really bad stutter where he was getting really upset about it, and now it’s gone. @Anna. Correct so I wasn’t worried, just a bit upset for him x
