8 month old fighting sleep

For three evenings in a row now, my three month old has woken up at about 03:00 ready to play/look around. It takes me hours to get her back to sleep with her making moaning noises to try fight going back to sleep. I really need to understand what I can do to get this under control as it’s exhausting. I try with infacol and I give Calpol as she is teething but nothing seems to work. She just humming to keep herself awake.

Is she actually crying? My LO moans as a way to self soothe. She does it going to sleep a lot of the time when I put her in her cot or even in the pram. It’s quite embarrassing when we’re out cos she’s very loud but it’s just what she has to do to go to sleep. You know your baby best but it could be that she doesn’t want your help anymore

No she is not crying at all. She just hums and sometimes screams high pitched but it’s as if to me she is trying to fight sleep rather than self soothing. I’m just lost with what to do as I’m exhausted

If she doesn’t want to sleep but is happy enough then leave her to it. You’ll probably find that she just drifts off eventually
