I wasnt given any pain relief when leaving, but iv just made sure iv kept on top of pain relief using ibrofen an parocetmol. (I was given tramodol in hospital 1st night) i only needed pain relief for 3 /4 days but every1 is diffrent (also only 8 days pp) xxx

I was given some oramorph in the hospital and when I got discharged which I only needed for a couple of days. I was breastfeeding but that didn’t seem to change what I was given ☺️

I was given Oramorph when I left but that evening I was okay with just Paracetamol and Ibuprofen due to numbness and adrenaline I think! 😂

Paracetamol, ibuprofen and dihydracodeine.

Ibuprofen & Paracetamol

In hospital I had paracetamol, ibprophine, dyahydracodine and oramorph. I was sent home with dyabydracodine. All of which you can have while breast feeding.

Oramorph in hospital is amazing! Then just ibuprofen and paracetamol is enough at home. I took them for about 2 weeks but very sporadically after the first couple of days and I felt pretty much back to normal by about day 10

Day 3 of c section and in pain, still in hospital and having burning ripping stitches pain on my right side. I’ve been given all medication but when I’m up trying to walk I have pain. Im scared to go home with less painkillers and still haven’t able to open my bowls. How is everyone coping with the pain?

I was given ibuprofen and co-dydramol (which is 500mg paracetamol and 30mg dihydrocodeine combined).

Paracetamol and Dihydracodeine

I had everything they offered in hospital including the suppository one in theatre. Discharged with dihydrocodeine and 400mg ibuprofen. Didn’t feel much other than mild discomfort and it didn’t affect my breastfeeding x
