Sudden tantrums at everything?!

Has anyone else's baby suddenly started having a screaming fit the moment something doesn't go their way? Could be putting him down, not giving him something he's pointing at (ie. A knife), literally anything and he escalates so quickly. He can just as quickly snap out of it sometimes, but other times he doesn't and just goes and goes until I finally distract him. It's taking so much of my energy and I don't know if it's a phase or just will be like this for the rest of toddlerhood 😫 Any help, advice, shared experiences welcome!

Yep, this is the pre toddler stage. It is exhausting, honestly. I know it's because they can't communicate yet properly but good lord, they're so unreasonable 😂 From a mum of 2.. It does get better, I promise! x

@Amy this is our first so thank you for the reassurance it does end! Roughly how long does it take...? 😅

Yep my LB is the same throws him self on floor the lot 😂

My boy has wild tantrums, throws himself backwards or onto the floor and tries to bite us. Completely inconsolable 🫠🫠 Dada is the favourite at the moment so often the tantrum is because I am not dada 🤦🏻‍♀️

Yep! My little girl is 14 months but you would think I had a teenager. Every single day there is a completely random tantrum about something! She will end up laying on the floor faced down and screaming/ crying over the fact we said goodbye to the Uber eats driver 😅 I feel like I’m walking on egg shells around my own house now in case I do something to trigger her 😂

I noticed mine doing the same thing from two days ago. I took the tape away from him and he went into a full 9n screaming crying match. I had to distract him and other times let him cry it out of his system. He not walking yet at 13 months, but he is showing big boy tantrums now.
