You just get a hat but aside from that I'd pack plenty as I didn't expect to stay in at all and we ended up being there for 6 days with our first. It was much easier for me to have everything than try and direct my husband to bring extra things 😂
My daughter got a little long sleeve shirt and hat. But no pants. And she was wrapped up in a blanket most of the time.
I packed a few pjs and then a cute coming home outfit. You’re going to want to bring stuff that’s easy to put on the baby
Our hospitals give you a beanie & receiving blanket(s). With our first son I brought a couple onsies & pants, a sleeper, his go home outfit, socks, beanie, a couple blankets & diapers/wipes. I'll probably do the same thing with this baby or similar 😊 I'd say to bring whatever you think baby will need while you're there & don't forget about yourself, I didn't bring hardly anything the first time & had to have my Mom bring it to me lol and if you happen to need help with any baby clothes or baby items I'd reach out to human service's in your area or even look for groups on FB, I've joined groups with other parents giving away a lot of baby stuff 💙💗
I think it depends on where you are having the baby. I'm in a system where the sent my husband down to the pharmacy to buy medical supplies like syringes. So we didnt get anything. For clothing even if they did provide something it's nice to have your own items for the baby.
It looks like you’re in the UK so no, they usually give you a hat but I believe these are knitted by volunteers (at least for us they were) so I wouldn’t guarantee that they have them
You take everything you need for baby hospital usually give you a hat for baby and that’s about it. YouTube packing hospital bag for some ideas of what you need to take xx
