I’ve embraced it and honestly don’t care anymore .
I know everyone’s body and activity level is different and I had a huge bump which doesn’t help but I’m 2 years PP and weigh less than before I was pregnant but I still have a hangy belly and I feel that prob for all of us who had a c section it’s part due to the nature of it being the scar tissue being kind of tighter and any fat then hanging over the top and not more of a natural gradual slope to the tummy if you know what I mean 🤪 ( well it’s my excuse anyway 😂)
@Kirsty definitely know what you mean! Makes me feel better thank you
@Fechi I'm glad to hear it, I kind of am too. We are beautiful as we are 💖
@Ami thanks for reassuring me!
Mine looks the same as this pic!! I’m almost 14m post c section / PP x
Does it ever go away? Does anyone know?
When i spoke with my dr about it. They told me they genetics plays a big part as well
@Carol I still have mine but I’m a bit fat. My cousins went away completely but she’s super into fitness and worked on her core muscles so it is do able just not easy x
Ladies thank you for reassuring me I'm not alone in this. I have learnt to love my body as it is but sometimes I get intrussive thoughts. Our bellies grew a person so this 'hanging belly' is a badge of honour really 💖
@Tiffany suppose it’s just personal preference! Not everyone wants a vaginal birth and that’s okay! :) I could of had a vaginal birth and always planned to but after a difficult induction and the potential risks of delivering vaginally (even though it was still deemed ok to go ahead) I opted for the c section and it was definitely the right choice for me and my son! 😊
@Tiffany this sounds very judgy to me, you don't know their reasons. Sorry you have a bad experience with yours
I do I'm 4 year postpartum and mine hangs down it's getting better now that's I move around alot
