Cord fell off day 6, we bathed him day 14 xx
My little girls cord fell off on day 7 and we bathed her on day 10, the midwife visited and gave us the go ahead, before then we just did the ‘top and tail’ method x
I started bathing my son few days ago. Before I will just give quick wash with warm cloth
Cord came off day 6, bathed last night at day 9, mainly because he had been cuddled by visitors and he smelled like other people and it was messing with my mummy hormones so I wanted him fresh and clean
Mines cord fell of at day 4 and bathed at day 5 but I just bathed her by just pouring water on her body did not use any products just plain water ,before I do this I do the ‘top & tail’. I guess it’s up to you to decide when you want and are ready to do it. I wanted to slowly introduce this habit to her.
Baby is 11 days old today and we haven't bathe her yet. Cord fell off on day 6. We just wash her delicate areas with a warm cloth every few days, clean her eyes and washed her hair also with a cloth once. No need for a full bath yet in my opinion.
