Showering
How is everyone showering? my fiancé working from 9 in the morning to 11 at night now. How are y’all managing to shower with a newborn. my little boy is almost 4 weeks old, and has recently started to get mad anytime i put him down.

I feel this!! I honestly had to just let my son cry in his swing while I tried to take a really fast 5 minute shower yesterday.
I warm my girl’s bassinet with a heat back before I put her in, once she’s already asleep. Works 9/10 times
Put them in the shower room where they can see you maybe? I would let them cry for 5 minutes whilst you shower. You know they are okay and you need to take care of yourself too x
I’ve only taken one shower while home alone with baby and I just laid him down when he fell asleep and took a quick shower. He was crying (more whining) when I got out and I just brought my clothes and got dressed next to him. If they’re safe give yourself 5 minutes to clean up. Gotta do what you gotta do.

I feed the baby change her make sure she falls asleep then I put her in the bouncer and put the bouncer in the bathroom with me 🫡 sometimes she lets me sometimes I cut it short and wait for my husband to get home and take a late shower
