They only stay sterile for 24 hours, you’re best off doing them once baby’s born when you get home and buying ready made ones with the teats included
They only stay sterile for 24 hrs
Just before you need them, doesn’t take long xx
Think I did mine around 38 weeks as like a first wash fresh out of the box, and then rewashed them before it come to actually using them. We used MAM bottles which stay sterile 48 hours but tbf we didn’t have any that lasted that long anyway!
I’d buy pre sterile ones with teats(sterile care or feed) forgot which on Amazon is what the NHS use just for when you get home and so it’s not something you have to worry about but you will have to wash bottles everyday if so after baby has gone to bed. Ideally if you have someone there like a partner get them to do the bottle washing some times to lighten the load from time to time
They only stay sterile for 24 hours so I did them once we got home from hospital
