So I'm trying to see if there is a connection lol if your baby sleeps through the night at this age ...how many oz/feeds are they consuming during the day?

Following! My little one has anything between 28-34oz of formula and still doesn’t sleep through!

It can only help and can’t guarantee. At this age, 3-4 months you want to offer feeds no later than every 3 hours but my guy still is feeding round the clock and when not in a regression sleeps 11-12 hours. I believe this is part our routine, filling up his tank, and straight up genetics. If you let em sleep all day, they will be hungry all night so I’d go more off of space of time in between the feeds and see what your baby takes vs ounces. Every baby is going to be so different on the ounces imo

I read it could Be part of the 4mo regression but she's starting to take less and less sometimes.. it was 4-5 oz every three hours... now even at like 3.5 hours it can be just 3 oz... instead of more (which I thought would be the case as she got bigger/older) ...and I'm just starting to think this may effect night time sleep now too 😫 top of everything else

So my son usually takes 4 oz every 3 hours from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Then before bed between 6 and 8 he'll usually have between 6-10 oz. Then he sleeps until between 5-6:30 a.m. and wakes up and has between 6-8 oz. So a total of 24-30 oz depending on the before bedtime and when he wakes feedings. Let me mention that he has only been doing this for a week now. Before this he woke once at 1 or 2 a.m. to have 4 oz just last week. Not sure if he's going through a growth spurt or what. He is 3.5 months. Will be 4 months on the 11th. He also usually takes 2 naps during the day. 1 that's a little over an hour in the morning and another in the afternoon about the same length.

My girl is 3 months and she’s been sleeping through the night since 2 months! We give her roughly 4-5 ounces every 3-4 hours and she is satisfied throughout the night and usually takes 5 ounces when she wakes up. We usually lay her down around 11 pm and she sleeps til 6-7! Occasional wake up around 3-4 sometimes but very rare. Hope this helps :)

Mine takes 6 oz every 3 hours sometimes 4. He’ll eat between 24-30 ounces and sleeps through the night. He almost 4 months. He usually goes to bed around 7-730 and sleeps until 730

Regressions can consist of eating more than usual OR less! That’s what’s so tricky. All you can do is keep offering. If baby is hungry, she will eat and if she’s not, she’s not. As long as she’s not sick that’s the best you can do. I’m nursing but if my guy takes a bottle which is here and there a couple times a week, he’s eating 5-6 oz. Most babies eat the same number of ounces as their month or 1-2 above (4 months, 4oz or 4 months 5 oz) that’s about what you’d call “normal” but the 4 month leap is HUGE. Some would say one of the hardest so just keep offering every 2-3 hours is what I’d do!

my son is 4 months. started sleeping through the night at 3.5 months. he was eating 38-40 oz a day, 1-3oz bottle every 45 minutes to an hour and a half with 3 feeds per night. now that he’s sleeping through the night he eats a total of 28-32 oz total. 6-9oz bottles every 2.5-4 hours.
