All baby's are different. I got told a general rule of thumb is 2.5oz per pound of their body weight, i'm only googling now to see that they max that at 32oz typically, but if your baby is hungry then they're hungry! My boy is currently on between 36-42oz, but some days he wants less. Unless your baby is showing signs of being over fed like spitting up a lot, I wouldn't be worried. But if you are, you can always contact your HV! I'm sure everything is all good, but I get that it's so worrying. I became obsessed with tracking my boy's ounces a couple of months ago and got so stressed when he went over a certain amount, and then I had to reflect and realise that they're growing so quickly that of course they're hungry!
Do you have him weighed regularly? Is he following his line? I wouldn’t worry, some babies are hungry and they are constantly growing and learning! Babies will normally be sick with excess milk anyway x
My little boy will be 6 months old tomorrow and i give him 4 bottles and a blended meal a day plus a few little snacks each bottle i give him is 8oz and i was told that was fine for him x
