Induced at 37w due to preeclampsia without severe features

Hi ladies, I’m being induced in two weeks due too high blood pressure and high levels of protein in my urine. Other than that haven’t experienced other bad symptoms so far. But that was enough for them to induce me. I’m sooo scared, this is my first baby and I heard bad things about induction. Any good experiences to share so I can ease my mind, I also feel like two weeks are so far away, so sacred of my condition to get worse before 37 weeks. :,(. I’m currently 35 weeks today. Any advice is appreciated.

I was induced at 38wks The worst thing about it was how long it took, bored in hospital. Started induction process on the Wednesday baby was born late Saturday night. So tip is to get lots of sleep during the process so you feel ready and rested for labour (when they break your waters). So waiting around really which isn't bad! Labour was fine! - alot of people scared me about the hormone drip - pitocin- but I felt it was manageable on just gas and air. I did end up with a forceps delivery as he was facing the wrong way. But I definitely felt my labour was positive. Felt really empowered and magical and would be induced again if drs recommended it Induction doesn't mean a worse/not as nice labour than those that go into labour naturally. I was pregnant along with 3 friends who went into labour naturally and 2 of those ended up with emergency csections. Keep positive and good luck! x
