Potty training poop help?

How can I get her to poop in the toilet? She is doing really well with pee but it’s probably been months now nearly and still no poop in the toilet apart from the very first week- we had abit of a constipation struggle after that but now it’s only in the pants or nappy(which we use at nap times and night). We’ve tried motivating her with so many different rewards but she will only hide and do it standing and sometimes not even tell me straight after. I don’t know when this will end?? Any suggestions

We had a tough time with poo. My LB refused the toilet and ended up so constipated he got a high temp and I had to take him to hospital. I don’t mean to tell you that to scare you but some are ready, some arnt, it’s best to be child lead. I really encouraged mine to use the toilet but it took weeks of him doing it in the bath every night before he would finally sit on the toilet. The only way I eventually convinced him was to give him a 'treat' when he sat on the toilet. Usually a square of chocolate or a seeet. I know it’s literal bribery but he does now go the toilet wee&poo no problems and has no accidents. Now you’ve started it’s best to persevere but definitely keep an eye on her if she ends up constipated again x

We’ve just tried keeping her without pants today to see if that helped but it didn’t - I’ve tried the literal bribery too and there’s a long list of presents waiting but nothing is making her want to go on the toilet! Maybe I do need to just wait even though it’s been weeks now!

When mine was really constipated the doctor gave him a stool softener. That made him need to poo urgently, obviously. Because he needed to go so quickly I think that actually helped encourage him to use the toilet, he didn’t have time to think about it.. Not saying to use laxatives but maybe foods like prunes or coconut water might encourage her to go. She will get there with it soon 🫶🏻
