Christmas Trees

Hey!! Any advice or tips + tricks for how to “baby proof” the Christmas tree?? My toddler loves to touch, pull, and grab everything so I’m worried about him trying to grab the tree and it topple on top of him. Or him trying to stick a light in his mouth 😂

Baby gate around it and or don't put anything lower than the middle .... The two main ideas I've heard

We won't have a tree up until next year, when he's 2.5

I haven’t even thought about a tree this year. Shit, I don’t know what I’ll do either. I think my options are, don’t have one or get a miniature and put it up high! It’s my son’s full time job to find all the items within reach that are not his toys. A tree doesn’t stand a chance

Perhaps and low hanging ornaments can be baby-safe? I could see doing like felted wool ornaments down low attached on a looped string. My biggest concern is my baby getting into the water basin or pulling on the tree and it toppling over. I scarcely have room for a tree tbh but I love them so much. Not sure what I’ll do yet.

We have an artificial tree that will remain in storage until we have a house of our own again

@Gavinga that’s a wonderful idea
