Climb over me doing evening yoga. This little piggy. Eats what we eat minus salt and with additional pureed veg as a sauce to help things like pasta and rice go down. Loves to eat my sandwich. Doesn't like much meat. He eats my porridge at breakfast with added nut butter because I'm allergic so I can't have it but want to help prevent him being allergic
My daughter started walking just before reaching 13months. But she had been standing and taking occasional steps for about 1.5 months before that. Toy wise, she loves putting things inside boxes/ containers and removing them again. Any bit of empty packaging she will fill it was random things she can find around the room. But she’s not quite grasped the concept of putting a shape block into the correct shape hole in a toy etc. her favourite toy/ activity is a tea party set and she loves to play pretend. Pretending to eat from an empty bowl and pretend to drink from an empty cup etc. also being given a wipe/ tissue and “helping” clean up as well! Anything that involves her copying me and something she sees me and my partner doing. She eats really well actually, not fussy! She’ll eat anything given to her and she’ll clear a plate every time. Only foods she won’t eat is sliced bread untoasted (so sandwiches and things unless they’re made with a soft roll)
Typical breakfast is jam on toast or porridge. Lunch we do pasta or wraps/rolls. Dinner is whatever we eat with appropriate adaptations if necessary. Snacks will be yogurts or fruits or sometimes a little biscuit with a cup of milk
Baby walks (he started a week after his 1st birthday). He can put things into a box/container and he has a toy with rings in different sizes that he enjoys putting together and taking apart. His favourite toys are cars, he rides them along with his hand in the house making a "vroom" sound, really cute. Other than that he is very curious so everything can be a toy really. Tonight he was laughing for like half an hour throwing some keys on the floor and running after them. On a daily basis we do learning activities (mainly the rings, stacking up blocks, putting things in and out of a box). We also do songs (I sing and he does gestures, like clapping, pointing, peek-a-boo). We also try words but he doesn't seem interested yet. Then we go to the park twice a day, if not possible once. Food, he usually has some meat pieces and boiled or steamed veggies, or soup, potato puree, omelette, oatmeal, rice pudding, pasta, risotto. Then fruits, yogurt, toast and peanut butter for snacks and desserts
