Do you talk and read to him a lot. My son is 14 months old and can say 16 words and what we’ve found has really helped is pointing to things in books and saying the word to him. Like yesterday he started saying flower because we’ve been reading him a book and pointing out the flower. We also narrate everything we do. Also, the above comment is totally correct, they do it in their own time but there’s definitely things you can do to prompt and help x
My dad only learnt to walk at 17 months and then became a doctor so don’t worry!
This sounds normal for 14 months. Keep playing with him and talking to him, give him some time
You're not doing anything wrong. Babies are all different and do things in their own time. Trust your gut and keep creating opportunities for your little one to learn. You've got this!
You’re not doing anything wrong! My boy took his first steps at 14m but wasn’t confident to more around 16m. My niece didn’t walk or have any teeth until she was 18m! My little boy who is now 21m doesn’t say mummy, can say daddy but is only now starting to try and say words (when he feels like it). dont worry about toys…most kids will be stacking the bricks, mine loves to knock them down. Honestly, they all do it in their own time x
