How far is your scheduled c-section date from the actual due date?
My doctor says she doesn’t schedule c-sections before 39 weeks of pregnancy but isn’t that cutting it kind of close? I know with my last one, they didn’t want to risk me going into labor on my own so we scheduled it 3 weeks before I was due. What’s being told to you?

Mine was booked 38 weeks, in Canada

I’m booked in for having baby 2 at 38+1. I was booked for baby 1 at 39+4 but she came 10 days early, she wasn’t waiting for anyone. So baby 2 is a week 38 baby. In the UK, full term is 37w so most twins come 37/38w and whilst most normal sections are booked for week 39, lots are done in week 38. That said, I just called up and came straight into the hospital to get prepped for theatre. Had my section at 10pm that night without any issues xx
