@Tori I love this idea defo gonna think of that
The first list is what I’ve bought and then that’s also some things I’m considering getting
Get things they may need!! Walkers are brilliant (ones that are meant to be slightly better so they don’t lean and fall over apparently). Anything educational obvs! Snacks?? Foods they’ll be eating at 9 months. Clothes they’ll grow into. Tbh get them things you think they’d enjoy/learn from even if they are for a little younger or older than 9m
Ball pits and bath toys!!! Maybe bedding or toys with their name on. Personalised stuff if you have the budget? Or make ur own things and keep them as keepsakes
Get clothes and toys for the future babies grow so fast
Foam climbing blocks were the greatest thing for my first born! Thinking about “regifting” for my second born because they’ve been in storage 😂
@Tessa that's a fair thing to do, things your older kids don't use anymore (especially in storage where they don't even see it) are fair game!
I've been thinking about a couple of bits for my 8 month old (10 months for christmas) that he'll use often, I used money I got for my birthday to buy my boy a ball pit for the living room but he's got a real interest in standing even though he can't crawl yet and I was thinking maybe a walker and one of those backpack/harness thingies with the head cushion so when he's falling backwards all he doesn't hit his head as easily... he's testing my reflexes at the moment 🤣 Besides that idk, Christmas is more for you than for them at this point, get them things that make you happy to give them, what gives you joy to see them happy with. I could give my boy an empty box and he'd be ecstatic.
@Elizabeth it feels like such a cop out to go that route but they are literally still perfect condition and it’s not like she’s going to be asking questions about it lol
We’re 9 months on the 19th December and we’re getting a ball pit, wooden activity cube, first learning books then just bath toys little interactive toys. Then just next size up clothes.
i was gonna say maybe a ball pit or indoor climbing thing.. perhaps maybe an activity table- i know these are all "big" things but when my daughter turned 9mo we ended up going out to buy these things for her and she loved them
