Tommed tippee UV steriliser

Just giving our new steriliser a trial run with some bits we will need. For sterilise and dry there are two time options (35mins and 60mins) Everyone seems to use the Auto 60minute option - im just wondering why not the 35minute option? If anyone can share….

Following as we had a trial run today too and I’m also curious!

I have one too and just can't see how it cleans them 😂

I did the same, but I trialed the 35 min dry and sterilise, as it was only a little cup to collect some colostrum. I just assumed if it was a full load a 60 min or just a couple bits 35 🤣 but I don’t actually know!

Its very confusing isnt it? And no actual answers anywhere. I spoke to a mum friend today who had one and she said she always ran 60minute cycles until baby was reaching the age to not have to sterilise so much. Then she used 35min cycles. Think i will stick to 60 just to be sure x

@Sarah i know! I said to my husband is it definitely doing something 😂

I'm honestly tempted to buy a normal one I but stuff in there that I used for collustrum after rinsing still have the water in them and the little syringes are still sticky 🙄

@Sarah oh really? Are you washing the bits you put un beforehand?

Yeh rinsing them under hot water guess they are gonna need cleaned properly with hot water and soap for it to work xxx

@Sarah yes if its the same one i have as far as i an aware they need to be washed thoroughly with soap and water and then put in for dry and sterilise only. Hopefully that way nothing should remain on the items to stay sticky x
