NHS dentist

I’ve got the dentist today to check my wisdom tooth as I’ve had bad pain for about a week. I was on private but managed to get on nhs while on maternity leave so my maternity exemption is valid until mid December. I’ve had appointments on the nhs and not had to pay. I’ve noticed that with this appointment they have booked me in with my old private dentist not the nhs one. I’m now worried that they will charge me eventhough I shouldn’t have to pay. None of this was mentioned on the phone call. So don’t know if I’m just stressing over nothing

Just mention this when you get there it may just be a mistake x

I need my wisdom tooth removed. I’m currently in agony.

@Lauren I’m waiting for another one to be taken out I’ve been waiting about 6 months but I’m on a waiting list eventhough it’s coming out the wrong way and damaging another tooth.

Yes me too. Going to my dentist today to demand someone else do it quicker because of the agony.

I was at the dentist last week for an impacted wisdom tooth. Having a full head x-ray at the hospital this week and then hoping to get booked in to have it removed. I feel your pain ladies, hope we're all sorted soon!
