I haven't tried. He doesn't show interest and I don't need the added stress if he's not ready.
Same as Jo, my little boy isn't showing any signs he'd ready
We started last Monday and he's taken to it so well. I think he was just ready though. Had an accident at the park at the weekend. But beach trip, party and mum's and tots the last two days and he's asked us to use the potty 🤞🏼 thank goodness, I was getting sick of my own voice asking does he need to go and hoping he'd just begin to tell me. We did the three days of barely leaving the house and no nappy. Then added pants (trainer pants didn't work for us, he called them nappies). The car makes me nervous though. Esp when he shouts weeee for going round corners 🤣
I have started and my LO just thinks it's a joke every time the floor is wet. I kinda want to give up here and there
I've been incredibly lucky I think with my little boy. He was happily going on the potty in May but then started refusing so we stopped. In October we started training again but basically just had him in underpants from the start. He point blank refused to wee on the potty at first, but after lot's of praising from us (and lot's of accidents) he was trained in under a week. He picked it up so quickly and now he's so pleased with himself each time he does a wee or poo on the potty or toilet. He is now starting to prefer the toilet now to the potty. I'm no expert, but this worked well for us x
