When I had my 12 week scan, we got 3 copies of the scan photos as part of it. Not sure if you have to pay for more copies though
You don't need to pay, you get 3 photos for free
You don’t have to pay at all, you normally get three but I managed to get 5 at mine and no payment needed 😊
You get 3 scan photos and there’s no option to pay for more, sometimes if you’re lucky they might print off 4 or 5 which is what happened in my last pregnancy at Jessop’s but I went on Friday for my 12 week scan and asked and they said they don’t do extra, it’s 3 and that’s it 😅
Just to add as well, it's identical copies of the same image, not 3 different photos, I thought they'd take several throughout the scan and we would get different pictures of baby in different positions but it's the same one
Thank you all so much, that's really helpful 😊 I don't mind that it's the same picture of baby, I've just ordered some cute reveal cards for family from etsy and I hadn't thought about printing my own from the original so that's a fab idea! Thank you again 😊💕
You alternatively have an extra private scan at somewhere like meet your miracle x
Think it depends and who you see as we got 5 printed out and they were all different ones. But you def don’t have to pay!
I went not long ago, they don’t have the facility to buy more anymore. They just give you 3 as standard. I just took pictures of mine and reprinted some on ‘Free Prints’ app xx
When I went for my 12 week scan at Jessops I asked about how to pay for extra photos, and the lady doing my scan very kindly printed off 6 photos, I think it may all depend on the person doing the sonogram, alternatively if possible there’s a few private scan clinics in sheffield that’s definitely worth booking, I’m going for one later on this week for a 30 week 4d scan ❤️
Thanks everyone, you were all right we were given them for free. The sonographer was very kind and we were given 6 different photos of baby 😊 have booked a private scan for around the 16 week mark. Will also have extra NHS scans due to high risk so lots more opportunities to see baby 🥰
You get 3 pictures and that it chick. I asked if there anywhere in the hospital that you can pay for extra and they told me you only get the 3 that they provide you with. It is really shitty when you want to give loads out to so many people. They just told me to take a pic and then print some off myself xx
