How did you teach your baby to sit down?
My son will be 9 months next week. He is crawling, pulling up, can climb on to the couch, and can walk against the couch or his crib as long as he holds it. However, he is terrified of sitting down. He will wait and cry until we put him on his bottom so he can crawl away. What did you use to teach your little one to teach your little one to sit down on their own?

It might hurt him my baby didn’t like sitting on his bum after lifting himself up until we got a play mat. Just a lil cushion for their tushion*edit I have hard wood*
I got a thick carpet with a carpet pad so the landing is soft.. if you don't like carpet, you can get those soft play mats and just fold them and slide under your couch when you want it out of the way ❤️

My baby’s play area is a roll up floor mattress and she just falls totally backwards onto it
