My 15 month old use to say words like dada,mums,duck and now she hasn’t said any words in a few months? Is this normal?

My son was the same and now all he says is WOW 😂 so I’m hoping so lol

My little girl went through a phase of this aswel she’s only recently started calling me mama again after about 2 months of not saying mama x

Also not sure if it’s normal x

I think its normal as my eldest 2 kids did this and they're talking great now. Haven't had this with my youngest yet but I wouldn't worry even if he did as I know he understands me and can say the words, I think they just know the words so they focus on other things to learn x
