How do I get my baby to stop using me as a dummy?

Has anyone successfully got out of this human dummy stage? The last few days and nights my little boy has just been screaming and screaming until he’s on the boob, and then won’t feed he’ll just hold it in his mouth and suck every so often. He uses it to go to sleep but then when he falls asleep and doesn’t have it anymore he just wakes up screaming straight away again. He started off so well with sleeping but now it’s taking hours before I can get him back to bed and it’ll sometimes only last 20 minutes if that before he’s up again. I’ve tried dummies and he won’t take them. It’s making me contemplate breastfeeding I’m so drained. What else can I do I’m exhausted 😢
