How many bottles?

How many bottles/Oz of milk is everyone's baby having in a 24 hour period? My LB is having 6-7oz every 5 hours and it just doesn't seem like he's getting enough, this has only started in the last week or so, before that he was having 5-6oz every 3-4 hours so to me it seems like he's dropped quite a lot 🤔 he's 17 weeks

My girl has around 23/24oz a day. I feed her every 3 hours because she rarely takes more than 4oz at a time 🤦🏼‍♀️ she is 14 weeks today and sleeps through the night hence sticking to 3 hourly. I have to wake her in the morning for a bottle 🤦🏼‍♀️

I think that would kind of depends on a baby. As far as I know baby eats as much as they will need- no more no less. It is good to discuss that with GP or HV. My girl is 16 weeks old now and she sleeps through the night about 10hrs max and in the morning she will get 7oz, then every 3-4 hrs 6oz and it would be around 5 bottles as sometimes she will want one after 2,5hrs. Last bottle is around 9pm. I have discussed that with GP and they said is all good and to be happy that she has appetite and she sleeps through the night.

little boy, 17 weeks, has 9oz every 2.5-3 hours sleeps from 7:30pm-7:30am and has 6oz at 11pm

My daughter 17 weeks takes around 27oz in 24 hours

16 weeks. 4 bottles in 24 hours. 3x8oz and usually eats between 7-8oz on those 3 feeds and then his bedtime feed where he has been 3-5oz. Sleeps from 9-7;30 I feel like he has dropped a feed and was also worried but got him weighed today after 4 weeks and he’s out on 1 pound 12 oz so it must be working xx And he makes it well known he is hungry 🤣🤣

Twin 1 has 3oz every 2-3hrs and twin 2 has 5oz every 3hrs. My boys are 21weeks. Xxxx

Thank you everyone xx

We combi feed. BF every 2 hours ish in the day and then 2 6oz bottles at night. One at 7 and one at 11

Same. Started when he hit 14 weeks. I literally beg him to feed now. He takes around 28–30oz per hour. He used to consume much more.

My boy had 4X8oz in 24 hours x

I was told by our HV that they can drop amounts around now because they are so busy looking at the world around them they just don’t eat as often, hence why the percentile chart start to flatten around this age. Some will drop their intake more than others, but so long as they don’t drop more than two lines on the chart (so for example going from above the 75th to below the 50th) they are absolutely fine x

@Mish this makes so much sense! Thank you x

My boy has between 160ml and 210ml every 3-4 hours during the day and then goes from 7:30pm-5:30am (asleep from 8pm) and has 210ml
