Feeding

Do you all wait to feed baby when he/she cries or do you figure out when it’s been 2/3 hrs?

I used to wait but we have a prep machine so his milk would literally be ready in a minute, I find my son would drink better when I wait for him to let me know when he’s got hungry, I made a mistake feeding him before he was hungry it completely messed up our routine and he would want a bottle in shorter times and not taking so much x

A bit of both, if he seems hungry before it’s at the stage of crying because he is hungry, I will check the time and see if it has been a few hours since his last bottle and make one up for him. If we are out or have a busy day and time goes by fast, it will usually be when he starts crying i will make his bottle up

When they are younger u have to offer every 3 hours but they will definitely cry as soon as they a bit hungry…when they get older you can just wait until they cry so they can finish the bottle

Breastfeeding so I go on demand. Sometimes it’s every 2 hours, sometimes less than that. Rarely more than 3 hours unless he’s been asleep a long time but that’s rare.

Always fed on demand - which with young babies you should do regardless of how you are feeding them.

tbf my daughter will eat and drink everything handed to her at any given time.... she acts like I starve her and I promise I don't 😭😭

I don't wait until he cries I watch for early hunger cues, crying is a late stage hunger cue. Dont even think about the last time he was fed it doesn't come into play
