Nipple pain

Hey moms! I exclusively pump my breast milk as my son sadly never latched, he’s only 6 weeks, but I’ve noticed the last two weeks my nipples will randomly feel like they are on FIRE, and then milk comes pouring out. Is that normal? Lol it hurts a lot especially if I’m not wearing a bra and they are touching my shirt material. I try to pump every few hours, but yeah just curious if anyone else knows the feeling I’m talking about? 😅

yeah, it's just your nipples being sensitive.

Yeah, that happens. Lol. I also exclusively pumped, but i dont think this is limited to that. For me it was accompanied by a really bad ache. I'd always know when u was about to leak. I will say it happens less and less (mines a year old now). I will say the Earth Mama nipple cream stuff is great for sore nipples

@Emily thank you so much for this! I appreciate the insight and will check this stuff out!

Put the earth mama nipple butter on the flanges when you pump. Game changer

Check your Falange size & use lubricant all day everyday earth mama, coconut oil, pumping spray

Yes I use silver nipple caps, they are amazing https://amzn.eu/d/09KMprN

@Jordyn thank you! I did have the wrong flange size 🙃😂
