i have herd of this happen more times then not, and only thing i’ve ever been told is it’s not the first time and it’s sure not the last, glad she’s okay but it does happen more then you think as long as as she’s okay don’t sweat it
@Samantha thank you I’m still monitoring her just in case but I think she’s ok just have to watch her even closer now baby’s are so dam fast😭
It happens to them all. You think they won’t roll or move since you’re used to them not being able to and then it happens. 😅
Happened to us too! Super scary! I rushed her to urgent care and they thought I was crazy. Even moved her to a lower bed and it happened again. Got a toddler gate on Amazon and it’s a game changer!
i know they learn fast i had mine almost 2 yrs ago and that was something my mom always said to me was “she’s gonna roll off that watch out” me always telling her no but then again i’ve seen it happen to other kids so i knew
It’s happened to me before too, a couple times. Babies are surprisingly resilient but heights can be dangerous. After it happened the first time, I kept a fort of pillows around the bed even if I was in the room. Soon after, my daughter learned how to roll over them. Now she’s old enough to know that’s dangerous and to be careful. It’s sucks to see them get hurt but they eventually do learn.
I'm pretty sure it happens to most mom's. It's okay, it was an accident. You didn't intend for your baby to get hurt. I'm glad she's okay!
Thank you everyone for the kind words she’s fine now thank god. I’m just going to be even more careful in the future ❤️
Yes😭 recently my 12 month old backflipped off the bed. He still keeps trying to do it too😂 his first time falling off the bed wasnt with me either it was with his dad. I was sooo mad. His third fall was with me and i actually cried. As they get older accidents happen. Especially when they start walking and getting into everything
Yes, at least 3 out 4 fell down. Most of them rolled off of dads arms (while they were both sleeping). Luckily we have carpet and luckily our bed frame is low. Baby will be fine. Just put your baby in the crib or even on a floor mat if you are busy doing things to prep for bedtime.
Ugh I know that feeling, I was so upset I was crying more than her! They all do it don’t be hard on yourself. We started teaching her how to get down from things right after that- belly to bed and feet first. We thought she was too small but she caught on really quick! Now she does it for the couch, stairs, bed. The only rule is they can’t turn around. If she does then she’s done practicing for a while. ❤️
@Gabby thank you and I did I still just laying here watching her bc I’m still worried
