Late talker

My little girl is the same she is just over 17months and doesn’t say hardly anything. Xx

My daughter said only said a few, very unclear words, randomly, until a couple of days ago. She understood a lot and could follow basic instructions, but I was getting worried too. Now she's saying all sorts, even naming colours, animals, items of clothing, copying numbers, or saying the next number when counting, etc. It's like something just clicked, and she went from saying barely any words to saying so much literally overnight!

My little one was like this until literally this past week or two. She would only really say duck and woof since she was 1 😂 But for some reason over the past week she's just gone crazy and has like 20 words now?! So maybe your little boy is saving himself to do the same too!

She's 18 months next week. I just can't believe the difference a few days has made. Hopefully, it will be the same for your boy. I also have a nephew who didn't say more than a couple of words until he was very nearly two x

Don’t worry just get. My boys get to say a word and he’s under slt they don’t really gwt worried until 2 years

My boy is the same. He doesn't say anything more than woof, mmmaammaa, dddaaddaa and he calls alexa.. auduhh something.. hahaha.. but I am not worried yet. He will get there I guess.
