Still breastfeeding?

Same here girl. You do you. I feel like breastfeeding was such a hard painful journey and now I am experiencing all the joys of it. Like you some days my boy has none but honestly love having magic titties. Recently had a 12 hour flight and any time he was disturbed in his sleep straight on the boob and instant calm. Made the journey so chill. Also when we stay out for the night, if he wakes, which isn’t often, I know I can get him straight back down without any crying. I feel like he’s gradually self weaning so just gonna go with the flow. He was actually sick a few months ago and didn’t feed for a week so thought that was the end of our journey but alas we are still going. There’s no rules honey just do whatever feels right for you and your kid xxx

I just say and why does that bother you? We still bf on demand, she's in nursery during the week, but when together, she's a boob monster. Whatever works for you and your girl, it's noneone else's business

We are still breastfeeding a lot!!! Especially now when she's teething.. not thinking to stop yet! Enjoy as long as you can!! You are a super Mama ❤️

We still feeding. Last week we were actually 100^ breastfeeding and she wouldn’t eat at all. She had rsv and was really poorly. She’s also teething and cutting her cainines. Glad I can help her through the winter season. I plan to go as long as possible up to age 3. Mine definitely would have been in hospital if we hadn’t of been feeding still.

I fed my 1st till he was two and only stopped feeding my LO about 2 weeks ago and that was more so as he was done than me 😂 I think though both times my milk has changed/reduced as I'm pregnant and they've self weaned! Id go back to anyone making a comment about how the who and NHS recommend breastfeeding until 2 and all the benefits it provides! It's your body and yours and you babies choice how long you feed for 💚

So glad to hear all these beautiful stories and that there’s mamas still like me 😍🥰 all we’re doing is helping our babies and giving them the comfort and safety they need to grow, I refuse to listen to what people say about the nutrition being considerably reduced at this age as my little one is thriving and such a happy confident little thing, and I do believe that breastfeeding as played a massive part in that. Still breastfeeding on demand, although he doesn't use it allot during the day. He feeds to sleep still. My mom in law asks so does my mom but I know it's more because they both stopped bfing before one year. I just respond 'we he feels like it or I do' It's no ones business really, I also make a point of never complaining about bf to anyone other than my hubby! Enjoy the journey!

We're still breastfeeding here too! Little man about to be 19 months and he loves the boo-boo thats how he calls it 🥰 he goes nursery 3 days a week and I breastfeed before sending him in and loooots during the night. Also the days he is with me he does day feeds too! Milk actually adjusts to whatever your baby needs so about the nutritional value, they're still getting it, just adjusted to what they need! 😊😇

My little one feeds every morning and night without fail. Then if she wants comfort or is tired she will ask for boobie. Xx

Still ebf and mainly morning, before nap if I’m home and then before bed/during the night. Never thought I’d enjoy it as much as I do and love being there for her in this way. Get a few comments here and there too and tend to just ignore/say that my daughter is in charge of when it’s time to wean 😅

When I get unwelcome comment I just freak them out by saying I’m never going to stop if he wants it when he’s 18 that’s fine with me with a dead pan face. Shuts them up quickly lol
